bake it 'til you make it is for the cooks and bakers, the chefs and the foodies alike. The ones that feel that Martha Stewart has an aggressive strain of OCD goes too far but yet feel Sandra Lee simply repackages prepackaged food and has a drinking problem does not go far enough.
It is a journey through the culinary world with some political and social commentary along the way. A place to kick off your shoes, prop your feet up and share about everything from making the perfect pie crust to making the perfect life.
I hope you’ll join me here, check in every once in a while and see where this thing called bake it 'til you make it takes us.
Humbly standing the heat and not getting out,

BIO:
Jon-Marc McDonald, founder of Desserts by Jon-Marc and bake it 'til you make it, came by his
baking and culinary skills purely by accident. Shortly after moving to
New York City Jon-Marc realized that if he was to survive in the Big
Apple on his meager salary, he was going to have to cook. Through a
series of misses and a few hits he began to notice that he really
enjoyed the kitchen.
So the oven, which was being used as storage space for shoes, returned to being an oven and a passion was born. Jon-Marc embarked on a culinary adventure, clipping recipes and scouring the city for the finest ingredients.
Jon-Marc has a resume that's as eclectic as his palette. He has worked in politics managing a congressional campaign at the age of 21, produced a fashion show for New York's 7th on Sixth at the age of 24, assisted in the largest art exhibition in lower Manhattan's history, and orchestrated book signings for some of the most well known authors and celebrities in the world. And none of it, he says, compares to pulling off the perfect dish or dessert.
